Birds’ Nests

Birds’ Nests

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 4 tablespoons cocoa
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter (or chunky)
  • 3 packages or 9 biscuits of Original size Shredded Wheat

Directions

  1. Add the first four ingredients into a 4-quart sauce pan.
  2. Bring to a rolling boil and hold for 1 minute.
  3. Remove from heat.
  4. Stir in the next 2 ingredients mix until incorporated
  5. Stir in Crumbled Shredded Wheat and drop by tablespoons onto wax paper
  6. Let cool until set.
